Abstract/Description: Reviews of the first three English-language volumes of chemist autobiographies from the series Lives in Chemistry published by the German Chemical Society's History of Chemistry Division are presented in the Bulletin. The series launched in 2021. The first three books were released that year, German-language autobiographies by Guenther Maier, Gerhard Ertl and Henri Brunner. In 2022, the first English-language book appeared, Inventing Synthetic Methods to Discover How Enzymes Work by Stephen Kent. In 2023, Ertl's book, My Life with Science, was released in an extended English edition. Earlier this year Larry Overman's book, Designing Synthetic Methods and Natural Products Synthesis, became the third English-language title in the series.
